The 2026 KTM 300 EXC Hard Enduro is not built for casual trail rides or coffee stops.

It is built for the ugly stuff. The steep, rocky, clutch slipping, heart rate through the roof kind of riding.

At its core is KTM’s proven 293 cc fuel injected two stroke engine. It delivers that classic 300 snap off the bottom with strong, tractable torque that lets you lug it through tight technical sections, then clear it out and let it sing when the track opens up.

Crisp throttle response, electric start, six speed gearbox and modern engine management mean it is far more refined than old school two strokes, but it still keeps that raw, lively character riders love.

The chassis is light, narrow and purpose built. Sitting around the 106 kg mark without fuel, it feels easy to throw around in tight gullies and between trees.

Up front you get WP XACT closed cartridge forks with updated internals for improved feel and hold up under hard braking and repeated hits.

Out back, the WP PDS rear shock keeps things simple, strong and progressive, ideal for rocky climbs and log hopping without linkage hanging down.

The Hard Enduro edition steps things up with a proper factory look and practical upgrades straight out of the crate. Black rims, premium graphics, tough underbody protection, radiator fan, solid handguards and hard wearing details throughout. It looks sharp, but more importantly, it is ready for real punishment from day one.

On the trail it feels balanced and predictable.
